Coffee Stripe Poplin Dress

Spring/Summer 2022 is inspired by the ingenuity of designer Claire McCardell. In the 1940s, she revolutionized the way women dress with chic, problem-solving separates they could style different ways. We played with contrasts of proportion, fabric, color and print to create a mix of versatility and glamour. With McCardell's legacy in mind, casual cotton poplin is elevated in an expertly draped crisscross halter dress, featuring an open back, black linen waistband and side panels. The bold stripe is engineered to create patterns with movement, so it draws the eye in and up to the waist — an optical illusion that is always flattering.
